Focus on meeting clients’ needs, considering the BBVA risk and trading strategy and capabilities Analyse and understand market drivers and flows to detect market dissonances that could be used to generate a new investment and/ or coverage solutions for the clients Design specific products to sell the Trading desks positions/ risks to the clients, ensuring that the product meets both clients’ needs and trading interests. Identify new solutions and products launched by main competitors and market participants. Remain up\-dated about market practices as a source of new product ideas • Collaborate with the Sales desks in the client commercial management, supporting them in visiting clients and in presenting and explaining the product proposal. Offer a specialized service about the product structure, characteristics and risks, taking into account the clients’ investment and hedging needs and the regulatory and accounting framework that affect to each customers’ segments • Provide indicative prices in GM structured products to clients’ requests submitted by the Sales desks based on the pricing rules framework established by the Trading units. Focus on understanding the products’ risks and the trading strategy and capabilities • Coordinate, with the Trading desks, the final product pricing and valuation, taking into account the individual valuation of the different product risks • Take part in different risk committees to manage the operation/ product approval. Assist the Sales desks in presenting the operation to the Risk unit, explaining the product structure and risks • Draft product presentations and other commercial documentation, together with the GSS Product and Accounting \& Capital Solutions Specialists. Include in the product term sheet the product characteristics, risks, scenarios and probabilities, etc. • Collaborate with the Legal unit in defining the product legal documentation and contracts • Coordinate with the Quantitative \& Business Solutions unit the development and improvement in the valuation/ pricing models. Detect together with Trading possible inconsistencies and calibration errors in the valuation models • Maintain updated the GM structured products’ catalogue, describing each products characteristics and risks. Focus on meeting regulatory requirements • Liaise alongside with the Sales and Trading desks in order to mainstream and coordinate the market and customer needs’ knowledge. Act as a bridge between the Sales and Trading teams for the commercial and trading strategy alignment and coordination • Help in defining Global Markets operational processes and workflows, taking into account new concepts that can affect the trading and sales activity (CVA, FVA, Funding Cost/Benefits, etc.) • Lead specific projects within the GSS unit, being responsible for the project execution and coordination.
