Job Summary: We are seeking a Drilling Assistant to support the preparation, maintenance, and operation of drilling equipment, ensuring proper core logging and recovery. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assistance in preparation and maintenance of drilling equipment. 2. Support in execution of drilling projects and anchoring coordination. 3. Operation and maintenance of the drilling unit and footage logging. We are looking for a Drilling Assistant to join our team at Contrate S.A.S. Responsibilities Assist in preparation and maintenance of drilling equipment. Coordinate with the work team to ensure proper equipment functionality. Perform supporting tasks in drilling project execution. Maintain records of equipment and tools used. Conduct constant visual inspections of the drilling machine’s operational behavior during the shift to detect potential mechanical or operational failures. Coordinate anchoring and positioning activities of drilling equipment. Ensure core sample recovery and maintain the chain of custody of information until material is delivered to designated storage facilities. Operate the assigned drilling unit correctly and perform its respective maintenance. Log footage on advance blocks. Submit daily Diamond Drilling Report. Assist the driller in drilling operations or related tasks upon request. Requirements Prior experience in drilling or related fields. Knowledge of diamond drill operation.
