**Logistics Assistant (Frozen Foods)** **Location: Fontibón, Bogotá** About Our Company We are a leading company in the production and distribution of frozen chicken. We are seeking a committed and proactive **Logistics Assistant** to join our operational team in Fontibón and ensure efficiency and maintenance of the cold chain. Purpose of the Role Provide direct operational support to the Logistics Supervisor by carrying out daily warehouse tasks (receiving, storage, *picking*, dispatch) and assisting in distribution. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with food safety standards and the cold chain. Main Responsibilities 1\. Warehouse and Cold Chain Operations * **Receiving and Storage:** Carry out goods receipt and their proper placement in freezing chambers, respecting designated zones and established order. * **Inventory and Rotation:** Assist in physical and cycle inventory counts. Ensure correct product rotation by strictly applying the * **Picking and Dispatch:** Perform *picking* (order preparation) and *packing* tasks according to dispatch orders. * **Temperature Control:** Report any temperature anomalies in chambers or refrigeration equipment to the supervisor. * **Order and Cleanliness:** Maintain order, cleanliness, and sanitation in storage areas, loading docks, and freezing chambers. 2\. Distribution Support and Documentation * Assist in verifying the loading of refrigerated transport vehicles, ensuring quantities and references match the sales order. * Collaborate in organizing and archiving incoming and outgoing documentation (delivery notes, invoices, waybills). * Support in controlling logistics tools and equipment. 3\. Safety and Regulations * Strictly comply with company **Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)** and Food Safety (HACCP) standards. * Correctly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for working in low-temperature environments. Candidate Requirements * **Education:** Technical or technological degree in Logistics, Warehousing, or related fields. * **Experience:** Minimum **6 months to 1 year** of experience in warehouse operational roles, *picking*, or logistics. * *Previous experience handling frozen, refrigerated, or perishable products will be highly valued.* * **Technical Skills:** * Basic knowledge of inventory systems * Basic proficiency in office software (Excel) is desirable. * **Important:** Willingness to work in low-temperature environments. * **Key Skills:** Proactivity, attention to detail, teamwork ability, and high responsibility.
