Supportive, team-oriented environment with career development You will be responsible for managing and optimizing pricing requests from both US\-based customers and international agents. The primary objective is to deliver timely, accurate, and competitive quotes while safeguarding department and company profitability. This role requires a proactive professional with exceptional customer service skills, the ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships, and a collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with cross\-functional teams to balance healthy margins with winning new business. **Responsibilities \& Duties** * **Quote Management:** Respond to daily pricing requests (RFQs) from US\-based clients and international agents, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with company profitability goals. * **Supplier Relations:** Develop, nurture, and maintain robust relationships with carriers, vendors, and suppliers to secure competitive rates and ensure high service levels. * **Cross\-Functional Collaboration:** Partner closely with operations, sales, and other internal departments to align pricing strategies, balance margins, and maximize business win rates. * **Customer Experience:** Deliver outstanding, proactive customer service throughout the entire quoting process to foster long\-term loyalty with both clients and partners. **Team \& Administrative Support** * **Team Coverage:** Collaborate actively with the pricing team, providing coverage and assisting with quote responses during peak volumes or team PTO. * **Risk \& Claims Management:** Assist in handling claims and cargo insurance processes as required by operations. **Requirements \& Qualifications** * Previous experience in pricing, quoting, or logistics/freight forwarding operations. * Familiarity with international trade, shipping terms, or carrier networks is a significant plus. * **Customer\-Centric Focus:** Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of providing high\-quality customer service. * **Negotiation \& Networking:** Strong ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with international and domestic suppliers. * **Analytical Thinking:** High attention to detail with the ability to calculate margins, analyze rate structures, and make quick, data\-driven decisions under pressure. * **Time Management:** Excellent organizational skills to prioritize a high volume of urgent requests in a fast\-paced environment. **What We Offer** * Competitive salary package. * 100% company\-paid private health insurance. * Gym membership. * English classes. * Life and funeral insurance. * Supportive, team\-oriented work environment. * Career development opportunities with a global logistics company.
