We are seeking a **Python Developer** to join our team. This position involves maintaining well\-tested Python libraries, applying your data engineering expertise, and building efficient data pipelines. You will contribute to workflow development, uphold code standards, and work closely with colleagues to deliver dependable data\-driven solutions. **Responsibilities** * Build and oversee data workflows using Apache Airflow to streamline and automate engineering tasks * Design and implement a Python SDK, creating tools and libraries to support data engineering activities * Create and support RESTful API services * Develop and run thorough unit and integration tests for both Java and Python applications and SDKs * Update and enhance Python and Java scripts for data engineering, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines * Set up and manage database operations to maintain data accuracy and optimize performance * Oversee CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing, building, and deployment of Java and Python projects * Collaborate with team members of varying experience levels in Python and Java to boost team productivity * Apply security protocols and compliance measures to all applications * Review code and workflows to ensure alignment with security and regulatory standards **Requirements** * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in software design, development, and testing * Background in building data pipelines for handling and transforming large volumes of data * Experience with Test\-Driven Development (TDD) to maintain high code quality * Ability to write effective unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability * Strong written and verbal communication for teamwork and documentation * Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, showing initiative and responsibility * Commitment to staying updated on new technology trends and integrating them into your work * Outstanding English communication abilities, capable of conveying complex technical ideas clearly to a wide range of audiences **Nice to have** * Degree at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline * Exposure to Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and iterative development * Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for application deployment and management * Experience using Java for cross\-language data engineering tasks
