This opportunity is onsite. **The role.** Wood Colombia is looking for a civil engineer or related field with 6 to 8 years of specific experience in engineering projects within the Oil \& Gas sector to work as a civil engineer. Work location: Bogotá. Proficiency in tools such as: Office suite, Staad Pro, Mathcad, Math 3D, Sap 2000, AutoCad, Navis Freedom, Dimensional Solutions. **Our clients and projects.** Designing the future. Field support for verification of work performed by subcontractors. * Ensure designs are carried out according to national and international codes and standards such as NSR\-10, RAS, API, ASTM, OSHA regulations, as well as client specifications and good engineering practices. * When necessary, lead work teams during project execution to ensure delivery of contracted engineering deliverables. * Participate in interdisciplinary document reviews to ensure proper information handling and engineering integrity. * Participate in internal meetings for review/definition of project technical issues. * Perform any other responsibilities assigned by your immediate supervisor and according to company needs. **What makes you extraordinary?** At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team. Expected: * Structural and architectural design criteria. * Construction specifications. * Preparation of terms of reference in subcontracts. * Good knowledge of national and international standards and codes NSR10, ASI318, API. * Design of concrete buildings, shelters with crane bridges. * Proficiency in Sap 2000, Staad Pro software for structural analysis and design. * Minimum desirable English proficiency of 75%.
