




Position Summary: A pharmaceutical laboratory is seeking a Microbiologist to perform and verify microbiological analyses of various matrices, manage culture media, and ensure the quality of disinfectants. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform and verify microbiological analyses of raw materials and products. 2. Ensure the microbiological quality of environments, surfaces, and personnel. 3. Support the execution of process and methodology validations. A pharmaceutical laboratory is currently seeking a **Part-time Microbiologist**. Schedule: Monday to Friday Some of your responsibilities will include: Performing and/or verifying microbiological analyses of raw materials and finished products. Performing and/or verifying all microbiological analyses for critical support systems. Performing and/or verifying all microbiological analyses of environments, surfaces, and personnel. Preparing and/or verifying culture media used in microbiological testing, along with bacterial suspensions used in growth promotion tests. Performing and/or verifying disinfectant efficacy tests to ensure appropriate cleaning and disinfection levels in designated areas. Scheduling and executing microbiological methodology validations and method suitability assessments as needed. Supporting the execution of scheduled process validations. Reviewing reports of performed microbiological analyses to ensure result traceability. Reviewing microbiological analysis reports generated by third parties. Verifying optimal conditions of the culture collection and working bank. Developing and/or reviewing procedures, specifications, and/or analytical techniques as required by the department. Verifying daily temperature and humidity records for equipment and pressure differentials. Verifying cleanliness of microbiology area spaces and equipment. Evaluating supervised personnel.
