Diagnosis of complex network and cellular connectivity issues About the Role We are looking for a **Network Engineer – Wireless \& Cellular** to deliver advanced support for **4G, 5G, and LTE** connectivity solutions, including wireless networks, cellular backup, and **VoIP over mobile networks**. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, optimizing, and resolving complex connectivity incidents, serving as **Tier 2/3 support** for managed clients. Key Responsibilities * Configure and optimize **QoS, failover, traffic shaping, and traffic prioritization** for VoIP services. * Integrate wireless solutions with existing networks using **TCP/IP, VLAN, NAT/PAT, routing, firewalls, VPN, and IPsec**. * Diagnose issues related to **latency, jitter, packet loss, signal quality, and connectivity**. * Provide **Tier 2/3 technical support** for cellular network, routing, VPN, SD\-WAN, and VoIP incidents. * Configure and troubleshoot routers, firewalls, and network equipment. * Work with technologies such as **Cradlepoint/Ericsson, Inseego, Fortinet, Meraki, Ooma, Cato**, or similar. * Monitor networks using platforms like **SolarWinds, BigPanda**, or other similar tools. * Participate in network maintenance, implementations, and changes. * Document configurations, tests, diagrams, and incidents in the relevant platforms. * Provide technical support and guidance to NOC teams and other support areas. * Participate in **on\-call rotations, weekend shifts, flexible hours, and overtime**, as required by operational needs. Requirements * **3–5 years of experience** in Network Engineering, Network Operations, or infrastructure support. * At least **2 years of experience** in cellular networks, Wireless WAN, telecommunications, or Managed Service Providers (MSP). * **C1-level English – mandatory**, both spoken and written. * Solid knowledge of **4G, 5G, LTE, APN, SIM/eSIM, carrier services, and cellular failover**. * Experience with: * TCP/IP * VLANs * Routing \& Switching * NAT/PAT * Firewalls * BGP and OSPF * VPN * SD\-WAN * Knowledge of **SIP, RTP, QoS, latency, jitter, and packet loss**. * Hands-on experience with cellular routers and cloud-managed wireless platforms. * Ability to diagnose complex issues related to **networks, cellular connectivity, VPN, routing, and VoIP**. * Experience using **monitoring, ITSM, or CRM tools**. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Bachelor’s degree in **Networking, IT, Engineering, or a related field**, or equivalent experience. Desirable * Certifications such as **CCNA, Network\+, Cradlepoint Certified Network Professional**, or similar. * Experience with **Fortinet, Meraki, Cato, or SD\-WAN**. * Experience in **NOC, MSP, telecommunications, or Tier 3/4 support environments**. * Experience with **SIP Trunks, VoIP, and Hosted Voice**. * Experience with monitoring, automation, and packet analysis tools.
