Job Summary: Supports the execution of internal audits by analyzing financial, accounting, and operational information to validate compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls. Strengthening the internal control system Position Objective Support the execution of internal audits through the review and analysis of financial, accounting, and operational information, validating compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls. Participate in preparing audit working papers, identifying risks, evaluating suppliers, reviewing revenues, and documenting findings that contribute to strengthening the internal control system. Main Responsibilities 1. Conduct preliminary reviews of suppliers, procurement, and revenue. 2. Validate accounting, financial, and administrative supporting documents. 3. Prepare audit working papers according to the audit methodology. 4. Identify deviations, non-compliances, and opportunities for improvement. 5. Document findings, risks, causes, effects, and recommendations. 6. Perform audit tests on operational and financial processes. 7. Support updating risk and control matrices. 8. Cross-reference information using Excel tools. 9. Participate in physical inventories and documentary validations when required. 10. Support follow-up on action plans derived from previous audits. 11. Prepare results reports and deliverables for the Head of Internal Audit. Technical Knowledge • General accounting and accounting principles. • Preparation and documentation of audit working papers. • Evaluation of internal controls. • Identification and analysis of operational and financial risks. • Validation of revenue, collections, and accounts receivable. • Review and analysis of suppliers and procurement processes. • Intermediate or advanced Excel skills: o Pivot tables. o Lookup and reference formulas. o Cross-referencing and analysis of databases. o Data validation and cleansing. • Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software. • Technical writing of audit findings and reports.
