Description

Job Purpose Ensure operational continuity across locations through diagnosis, preventive/corrective maintenance, and installation/calibration of audio equipment (DJ, studio, PA) and associated peripherals, meeting SLA/TTR requirements and enhancing satisfaction of internal/external users. Schedule and Work Modality On-site – Bogotá · Mon–Fri: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. · Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. What We’re Looking For * **Education:** Technical or Technological degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (or related fields). * **Experience:** Minimum 2 verifiable years in technical service or maintenance of audio equipment (DJ/studio/PA) and applied electronics. * **Technical Skills:** Basic instrumentation (multimeter; oscilloscope preferred), soldering and connector/cable repair, schematic reading, wiring and routing, system calibration, basic networking and computing knowledge; proficiency in Excel/office tools for reporting. * **Preferred:** Experience with brands such as Pioneer DJ, Denon, Native Instruments, Yamaha, Shure, Focusrite, KRK, etc. Your Responsibilities * Diagnose and repair faults in audio equipment (mixers/consoles, audio interfaces, monitors, microphones, controllers, PA systems). * Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (cleaning, testing, adjustments, firmware updates) and corrective maintenance as needed. * Install, wire, and calibrate audio systems (signal routing, level balancing, noise testing, fine-tuning). * Respond to incidents and provide on-site support for classes, studios, and events; log cases and close them with documented evidence. * Manage spare parts and suppliers: request quotations, track warranties/external services, and maintain technical inventory control. * Produce technical documentation: checklists, logbooks, service reports, and recommendations for equipment improvement/replacement. * Meet and report operational metrics: response SLA, TTR (time-to-response), resolution quality, and internal/external NPS.
