Contribution to the reliability of reporting and decision-making. **Job Description:** We are seeking an Accounting Analyst who actively participates in the execution, control, and improvement of accounting processes, guaranteeing the quality, integrity, and timeliness of financial information. The role will be responsible for supporting compliance with tax obligations and providing effective support during internal and external audits and reviews, contributing to the reliability of reports and organizational decision-making. **Responsibilities:** 1\. Prepare, review, and record cash receipts, disbursements, checks, and other accounting documentation. 2\. Support the accountant in reviewing import documentation for proper legalization and registration in the company’s accounting system. 3\. Prepare, validate, and generate external information according to deadlines and formats established by the DIAN (Colombian Tax Authority) and the SHD (Social Security Health Directorate). 4\. Assist in the preparation, review, and filing of national and district-level tax returns (VAT, withholding tax, ICA, etc.). 5\. Analyze, reconcile, and generate detailed reports for accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring effective control and follow-up of receivables. 6\. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconciliations of financial liabilities. 7\. Record payroll and reconcile the payroll contributions and benefits register against monthly accounting records. 8\. Reconcile purchases with the DIAN’s Radian system. 9\. Accrue depreciation and record fixed asset acquisitions, ensuring monthly reconciliation with the Excel control ledger and the fixed assets module versus the general ledger. 10\. Manage, control, reconcile, and record petty cash transactions. 11\. Measure financial indicators, download accounting reports (taxes, expenses, sales), and present them to management. 12\. Monitor budget execution and complete monthly entries in the management system. 13\. Create, update, and verify customer and supplier information. 14\. Support the accountant in responding to audit requests from the statutory auditor. 15\. Manage, file, and organize all accounting documents and records. 16\. Request and issue withholding tax certificates to third parties. 17\. Understand and comply with the company’s internal work regulations. 18\. Perform other tasks assigned by the accountant. **Requirements:** Professional degree in Public Accounting. Minimum 3\-5 years of experience in the position. Knowledge of IFRS, Colombian tax regulations, and oversight entities.
