Job Description We are looking for a **Full Stack Developer \& Project Manager** to lead and execute development initiatives. This position is for someone who not only masters coding but also excels at planning, coordinating teams, managing deliverables, and serving as the bridge between the technical team, stakeholders, and senior management. You will be responsible both for actively contributing to the development of our web, mobile, and database applications, and for managing the full project lifecycle within the development area: planning, task assignment, sprint tracking, timeline control, risk mitigation, and progress reporting. The ideal candidate possesses deep software development understanding gained through hands-on experience—enabling them to provide technical leadership to the team, make informed decisions regarding architecture and priorities, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities **Project Management:** * Plan, coordinate, and track development projects from inception to completion. * Define scope, schedules, deliverables, and success criteria jointly with stakeholders. * Lead agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning, review, retrospective) and ensure sprint health. * Assign and prioritize tasks within the development team based on business objectives. * Identify blockers, risks, and dependencies; propose solutions and escalate when necessary. * Maintain up-to-date project documentation (backlog, roadmap, dashboards, progress reports). * Report project status to senior management using clear metrics (velocity, on-time delivery, quality). * Coordinate with design, product, QA, and other departments to ensure aligned deliveries. * Manage team workload, promoting a sustainable and high-quality pace. **Development (Full Stack):** * Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web and mobile applications. * Actively participate in developing critical features and architectural decisions. * Create, optimize, and maintain relational and non-relational databases. * Integrate APIs and external services. * Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and establish technical standards within the team. * Provide technical leadership by resolving questions, unblocking developers, and mentoring team members. * Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies applicable to the business. Requirements * Minimum of **2 years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer**, and at least **1 year managing projects or leading development teams** (e.g., Tech Lead, Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master with technical responsibilities, or similar). * Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar languages. * Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. * Solid backend experience with Node.js, Django, Spring, or equivalent frameworks. * Experience with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar. * Strong command of Git and agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban), preferably in a facilitator role—not just as a participant. * Experience with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, ClickUp, Trello, Monday, or similar). * Demonstrated ability to plan, estimate, and deliver on commitments. * Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical personnel and business stakeholders. * Residency in Bogotá with availability for on-site/hybrid work. Desirable * Certifications in project management (e.g., Scrum Master, PMP, PMI\-ACP, SAFe, or similar). * Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. * Knowledge of mobile application development (e.g., React Native, Flutter, or similar). * Experience managing technical budgets, vendors, or technical hiring. * Portfolio or prior projects demonstrating both technical and leadership capabilities. * **Plus:** Odoo knowledge.
