You will steer FastAPI web services, background processing, and data architecture while scaling CI/CD and IaC with Bicep, AWS CDK, or Terraform; apply now **Responsibilities** * Lead, tune, and maintain Python backend services and background tasks using FastAPI * Plan and optimize data processing workflows with Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB * Architect and evolve data platforms including data lakes, medallion layers, and star schemas * Build and scale CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions or equivalent solutions * Oversee deployment and monitoring on Azure using Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, and SignalR * Implement infrastructure provisioning with Bicep, AWS CDK, or Terraform * Drive adoption of GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to raise engineering throughput across teams * Align stakeholders across functions to meet performance, scalability, and reliability targets * Resolve senior\-level engineering and architecture challenges in line with organizational standards and trends * Direct observability practices and ensure timely remediation of critical issues to keep systems robust **Requirements** * Extensive Python expertise (7\+ years) building web services and running background processes with FastAPI * At least 2 years of leadership experience in engineering or architecture positions * Advanced knowledge of Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB for data work * Proficiency designing complex data architectures, including medallion layers, data lakes, and star schemas * Extensive experience expanding CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or similar tooling * Proven expertise with Azure services such as Container Apps, Service Bus, SignalR, and Azure Storage * In\-depth understanding of infrastructure\-as\-code, with advanced delivery using Bicep, AWS CDK, or Terraform * Demonstrated capability using GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to improve development workflows * Fluent English skills at a C1 level (Advanced) for clear communication in a multilingual environment **Nice to have** * Experience with orchestration and transformation tools such as Airflow, dbt, and Streamlit * Knowledge of distributed processing, asynchronous workflows, and enterprise messaging patterns * Proficiency with Snowflake features including streams, tasks, pipes, stored procedures, and time travel * Competency in .NET web development for legacy front\-end solutions built in .NET Core * Skills in web development using Angular or Next.js
