He/she impacts the organization by improving cash flow, minimizing delinquencies, reducing days sales outstanding, and limiting exposure to bad debts. This position manages customer inquiries and responses regarding import billing. He/she has extensive contact with customers, external agencies, and internal departments regarding issues affecting payment. Identifies areas with exceptions, investigates causes of holds and delays, and initiates solutions to resolve issues that delay or suspend vendor invoice processing.
