




Job Summary: We are seeking a Culinary Technical Apprentice to assist in food preparation, apply food handling standards, and maintain area hygiene. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assistance in daily food preparation and mise en place. 2. Application of food handling, storage, and hygiene standards. 3. Collaboration in rotating supplies and verifying expiration dates. A reputable company located in Medellín is seeking personnel to join its team as a Culinary Technical Apprentice under SENA’s apprenticeship program. · Academic background: Culinary Technical Student, currently in academic or productive phase. · Specific duties: - Perform mise en place and assist in daily food preparation. - Apply food handling, storage, and hygiene standards. - Support production activities, product labeling, and completion of established forms. - Receive and verify supplies, ensuring proper rotation and expiration date verification. - Conduct general cleaning of the area and assist with daily inventory. · Required knowledge: - Food handling and storage standards. - Labeling of products and prepared foods. - Mise en place. - Food preparation following instructions from the head chef. - General cleaning according to established guidelines. - Receiving and verifying supplies against invoices. - Rotating supplies and verifying expiration dates. - Assisting in daily inventory preparation. · Salary: $1.750.905 + Transportation allowance + Statutory benefits. Working hours: Rotating shifts between 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM; hours as regulated by law. Contract type: Apprenticeship contract.
