Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Garment Sample Maker from the textile sector to develop samples and prototypes, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness. Key Highlights: 1. A textile-sector company located in Medellín is seeking qualified personnel with a minimum of twelve (12) months’ experience in the apparel industry to fill the position of Garment Sample Maker. Candidates must have specific experience in this role and demonstrate willingness and ability to serve as a mentor to other sample makers within the facility. Job Mission: To develop garment samples and prototypes according to technical specifications and requirements, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to delivery deadlines. · Academic qualification: High school diploma. · Specific responsibilities: - Develop samples according to technical specifications. - Verify measurements and finishes. - Operate sewing machines. - Perform requested adjustments. - Meet established delivery deadlines. · Technical or specific knowledge: - Interpretation of technical specifications. - Sample making. - Operation of industrial sewing machines. - Finishing and assembly of garments. · Contractual conditions: · Salary: $1,750,905 (adjusted to the current legal minimum wage) + transportation allowance $249,095 + statutory benefits. (Overtime work required: Occasionally on Saturdays). · Contract type: Fixed-term contract. · Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. · Work location: Medellín. -Requirements- Minimum education: High school diploma / Secondary education 1 year of experience
