Job Summary: We are seeking a kitchen assistant with experience in preparing meals for elderly adults, ensuring standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in food preparation meeting high standards of quality and hygiene. 2. Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. 3. Perform mise en place for food preparation. A reputable service-sector company located in the municipality of La Estrella is seeking a kitchen assistant with a minimum of 12 months’ experience in food preparation. The purpose of this position is to assist in meal preparation for elderly adults while ensuring compliance with quality, hygiene, and food safety standards. · Academic qualification: High school diploma with food handling certification. · Specific responsibilities: - Assist in food preparation. - Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. - Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations. - Perform mise en place for food preparation. - Assist in preparing meals for approximately 140 people. · Required knowledge: - Hygienic food handling (GMP standards). - Basic knife skills and cutting techniques. - Mise en place preparation. - Teamwork. - Organization and ability to work under pressure. · Salary: $1.750.905 + transportation allowance + social benefits. Working hours: Rotating shifts; Shift 1: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Shift 2: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Work schedule: Sunday to Sunday, with one compensatory day per week. Contract type: Indefinite-term contract.
