Job Summary: Supports operational activities in the quality department, performing quality control of reagents and raw materials, and microbiological control at the production plant. Key Highlights: 1. Key support in operational activities of the quality department. 2. Performance of microbiological control and supervision rounds at the production plant. 3. Management of culture collection maintenance and product release. A reputable company located in Medellín is seeking technical or technological personnel in Microbiology or related fields for its team, with a minimum of 6 months’ experience in a microbiology laboratory or related areas. · Job Mission: Support operational activities in the quality department across various processes, including production, quality control, and technical management. · Main Responsibilities: · Support quality control of reagents (quantitative and qualitative microbiological analyses, physicochemical analyses, and sterility testing). Support quality control of raw materials. Perform microbiological control at the production plant (environments, surfaces, and personnel). Conduct supervision rounds at the production plant (verification of cleaning, disinfection, and order). Perform culture collection maintenance (inventory, strain reactivation, viability and purity control). Manage product release or rejection through the ERP system. · Required Knowledge: · Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety. Basic Excel proficiency. · Competencies: · Teamwork.
