Job Summary: Lead the strategy and management of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. Key Highlights: 1. Lead the implementation and improvement of EHS management systems. 2. Promote a culture of prevention and visible leadership in safety. 3. Advise on decision-making related to risks and sustainability. Sandvik Mining seeks an EHS Coordinator to lead the strategy and management of Health, Safety, and Environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening of preventive culture, and continuous improvement of organizational performance. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Lead the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of Health, Safety, and Environment management systems. * Ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements related to EHS. * Advise senior management and operational departments on decision-making related to risks, safety, and sustainability. * Monitor management indicators and implement action plans. * Promote a culture of prevention and visible leadership in safety. * Coordinate EHS training and development programs. * Manage emergency response plans, business continuity, and crisis management. * Perform duties inherent to the position. **Required Profile** -------------------- * Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 5 years of experience leading EHS processes. * Experience in implementing and managing integrated management systems. * Advanced English proficiency (mandatory). * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Willingness to travel within and outside Colombia. * Valid driver's license. **We Especially Value** ----------------------------- * Postgraduate specialization or master’s degree in Integrated Management Systems. * Valid Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) certification. * Experience in organizations with multi-site operations.
