Collaborative work with design and production teams **Textile Pattern Maker** Department Product Development / Design / Production Job Objective Develop and create patterns and templates for garments, ensuring fit, functionality, quality, and accurate interpretation of designs, in compliance with the company's technical and production standards. Main Responsibilities * Interpret technical specifications, designs, and garment requirements. * Create base patterns, graded patterns, and modifications as required. * Draft and adjust patterns for production. * Develop samples and verify garment fit. * Analyze measurements, body shapes, and proportions to ensure proper fit. * Coordinate necessary adjustments with design, production, and quality teams. * Ensure patterns meet production and fabric consumption requirements. * Perform corrections arising from fit tests or audits. * Operate pattern-making and grading software where applicable. * Maintain and control physical or digital pattern archives. * Support continuous improvement initiatives in product development. Academic Qualifications Professional degree in: * Industrial pattern making * Industrial garment construction * Related fields within the textile sector Experience * Minimum 2 years of experience in garment pattern making. * Experience in developing patterns for industrial production. * Preferred experience in categories such as: * Denim * Casual * Knitwear * Wovens * Women's and men's apparel Technical Knowledge * Interpretation of technical specifications. * Manual and/or digital pattern making. * Pattern grading. * Garment construction and assembly processes. * Measurement taking and fit evaluation. * Proficiency in software such as: * Optitex * Gerber * Fabric consumption and optimization knowledge.
