We are seeking a talented **Senior Big Data Engineer** to join our **remote** team, working on a cutting\-edge project that involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining ETL/ELT solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining data integration processes and data pipelines using various API frameworks and Amazon Web Services tools. You will also work closely with other groups and stakeholders to align reporting metrics and ensure data accuracy and integrity. If you are passionate about big data and have a proven track record of delivering high\-quality solutions, we invite you to join our team. **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL/ELT solutions for the project * Create and maintain data integration processes and data pipelines using various API frameworks and Amazon Web Services tools * Tune database queries to optimize query performance * Collaborate with various groups and stakeholders to align reporting metrics and ensure data accuracy and integrity * Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members **Requirements** * Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Software Engineering, with a focus on Snowflake solutions and data integration * Expertise in Amazon Web Services, and Python * Experience with REST API, and SQL * Strong experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions using various API frameworks and Amazon Web Services tools * Experience in tuning database queries to optimize query performance * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross\-functional teams * Strong problem\-solving skills and the ability to work independently * Fluent spoken and written English at an upper\-intermediate level or higher **Nice to have** * Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka * Experience with data warehousing and data modeling * Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes * Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts
