Team facilitation and impediment removal Job Description **Role:** * Scrum Master (with path to Project Manager) **Description:** * We are looking for a Scrum Master to accelerate value delivery from our development teams. * You will work with JIRA and agile practices (Scrum) to optimize flow, remove impediments, and reinforce continuous improvement. * If you are passionate about team facilitation and also interested in growing into Project Management, this opportunity is for you. **Requirements:** * Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a **Scrum Master in development teams.** * **Practical hands-on experience operating and configuring JIRA (Scrum boards, workflows, JQL, dashboards, versions).** * **Strong foundational knowledge of Scrum, Lean, Kanban, and metrics.** * **Experience facilitating continuous improvement.** * **Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.** **Tools:** * **JIRA and Slack/Teams, Miro/FigJam.** * **Spreadsheets and/or BI tools (Excel/Sheets, Power BI/Looker Studio).** **Responsibilities:** * Facilitate and optimize Scrum ceremonies: Planning, Daily, Refinement, Review, and Retrospective. * Ensure and evolve Definition of Ready/Definition of Done, WIP limits, and team agreements. * Proactively remove impediments by managing dependencies and escalating when necessary. * Support the Product Owner in backlog grooming/prioritization by value and quality of acceptance criteria. * Operate and improve Jira boards: workflows, JQL, dashboards, versions, and reporting. * Maintain reliable information radiators: burndown, velocity, throughput, cycle/lead time. * Drive data-based continuous improvement (experiments, health checks, retrospective actions). * Promote quality practices (automation, defect prevention, definition of quality). * Communicate progress, risks, and upcoming milestones to business and technology stakeholders. **Working Conditions:** * Work Location: Barranquilla. * Work Modality: On-site. * Contract Type: Indefinite-term contract. * Salary: To be agreed upon based on experience.
