You will work on innovative projects, utilizing cutting\-edge tools and collaborating with cross\-functional teams to build robust data architectures and pipelines supporting our business needs. **Responsibilities** * Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services and background jobs using Python, with a focus on frameworks such as FastAPI * Build and maintain data processing workflows using Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB * Design and implement data architectures, including data lakes, medallion layers, and star schemas * Develop and manage CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions * Build, deploy, and manage solutions on Azure using Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, and SignalR * Write infrastructure configurations with Bicep or alternative tools such as AWS CDK or Terraform * Leverage GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to streamline code development * Collaborate with data and development teams to optimize system performance and scalability * Solve complex data engineering challenges while adhering to industry best practices * Monitor and troubleshoot issues across services to ensure system reliability **Requirements** * Strong Python experience (3\+ years), specifically in building web services and background jobs using FastAPI * Expertise in libraries and tools, including Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB * Knowledge of data architectures like medallion layers, data lakes, and star schemas * Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows * Background in Azure services like Container Apps, Service Bus, SignalR, and Azure Storage * Skills in infrastructure\-as\-code tools such as Bicep, with experience in AWS CDK or Terraform being transferable * Familiarity with tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to support modern development practices * English level of minimum B2 (Upper\-Intermediate) for effective communication **Nice to have** * Familiarity with orchestration and transformation tools such as Airflow, dbt, and Streamlit * Understanding of distributed processing, asynchronous workflows, and enterprise messaging patterns * Experience with Snowflake, including stored procedures, streams, tasks, pipes, and time travel functionality * Competency in .NET web development for legacy frontend systems implemented in .NET Core * Showcase of web development experience using Angular or Next.js
