Prepare sales-related documents throughout the entire sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet orders for events). Promote awareness of the brand image both internally and externally. Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials). Utilize sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining current guest loyalty to Marriott. Enter, remove, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, initiatives, third parties) using sales-related software. Respond to guest inquiries regarding property facilities and services (e.g., activity schedules, room rates and types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events). Serve as a point of contact with customers and communicate with them via phone and email to respond to their questions and requests. Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate their service needs and address them, expressing genuine appreciation. Communicate with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer phones using proper protocols. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals; listen and respond appropriately to concerns from other employees. Meet all quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: High school diploma or equivalent certification from a General Educational Development (GED) program.
