Collaboration with senior profiles and technical scalability **At Julius, we are looking for a VTEX Backend Developer** It is mandatory that the candidate resides in **Colombia**. **Contract Type** Service provision. **Required Education** Professional degree in **Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields**. **Additional Education (Desirable)** * Certifications in **VTEX IO**. * Advanced courses in **Node.js, REST APIs, backend architecture, cloud, and microservices**. **Experience** Minimum **2 years of experience in this role**, working with **VTEX IO in production projects**. **Specific Technical Knowledge** * Backend development in **VTEX IO**. * **Node.js** (services, middlewares, API consumption). * Consumption and integration of **REST APIs** (GraphQL preferred). * Third-party integrations (**payments, logistics, ERP** – preferred). * Basic knowledge of **Master Data and checkout flows**. * Version control using **Git**. * Understanding of environments (**development, QA, and production**). **Tools Proficiency** * **VTEX IO CLI** * **Node.js** (basic JavaScript / TypeScript) * **Postman** or similar tools * **Git** (daily usage) * Preferred: familiarity with **cloud or backend services** **Job Responsibilities** * Implement backend developments within the **VTEX IO** ecosystem. * Develop and integrate **APIs and services** according to defined guidelines. * Support implementation of **checkout flows and order management**. * Fix bugs and carry out **evolutionary improvements** on existing developments. * Participate in **technical testing and production deployments**. * Document developments and apply **best programming practices**. * Collaborate closely with senior profiles or project architects. * Progressively increase **technical responsibility and autonomy**.
