Job Summary: A leading food industry company is seeking a Documentary Logistics Assistant to manage vehicles, freight, and inspection of goods. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage the procurement and negotiation of freight rates with external carriers 2. Conduct safety assessments and coordinate delivery appointments 3. Verify and collect information for contracted services A prominent food industry company requires a Documentary Logistics Assistant for its team — a Logistics Technician or a professional with a related degree, with at least one year of experience (preferably in the food industry). · Responsibilities Vehicle procurement; conduct internal safety assessments with external drivers Schedule delivery appointments with Isimo, Éxito Olímpica, Isimo, and Éxito warehouses Inspect imported and domestic goods receipts Arrange freight services and negotiate trip rates with external drivers Prepare quotations with carriers and freight forwarders for vehicles Locate external drivers and vehicles. Verify and collect all relevant information for the service to be contracted, whether external driver and/or carrier.
