Otis is growing and looking for a technical apprentice for one of our subsidiaries. You will work alongside a qualified elevator mechanic to learn the trade. On a typical day, you will: * Work daily with an experienced mentor who will support you as you learn the trade * Become familiar with the basic operation of elevators through site visits and formal training * Learn how electronic and mechanical systems work by connecting components to form complex systems * Get to know digital tools such as IoT and their role in elevators * Perform preventive maintenance on contracted equipment: periodic visits, checking safety devices. What you need to succeed: * Education: Technical or Technologist student in Electromechanical Maintenance, Electronics, Mechanics, Automation, or related fields. Availability to sign an apprenticeship contract * Comfortable using electronic and digital tools * Willingness to study and become a qualified elevator mechanic * Hardworking, loyal, and flexible * Good communicator, excellent team player, optimistic, and self\-motivated.
