WORKING CONDITIONS** **Type of Contract:** Fixed-term employment contract for 3 months (full-time) **Work Schedule:** Full-time (8 hours daily from Monday to Friday and 4 hours on Saturdays) **Contract Duration:** 3 months (renewable based on performance) **Work Location:** Medellín, Colombia **Salary:** $2,300,000 depending on experience **3. JOB MISSION:** Build, optimize, and maintain the system's scalable backend architecture, ensuring security, performance, reliability, and integration with financial and educational services, contributing to technological development and project sustainability within the company. 4. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Implement and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs and backend services. * Manage and optimize relational and non-relational databases. * Handle user security, authentication, and authorization. * Optimize server performance and scalability. * Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and code debugging. * Document code, technical processes, and best practices. * Design database schemas in MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other engines. * Implement JWT authentication and encryption of sensitive data. * Integrate backend services with frontend (React) and third-party systems (banking APIs, IES). * Deploy applications to the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Docker and CI/CD. **5. JOB REQUIREMENTS:** * Education: Degree or Technical training in Software Development or related fields. * Courses and certifications in backend development (MERN, GraphQL, or others). * Experience: Minimum of 1 year in backend development with Node.js and SQL/NoSQL databases. * Knowledge in API integration and cloud-based services.
