Position Identification*** Position Title: Health and Safety Professional (HSE) - Multi-site Construction Reports to: Construction Management / HS Management ***2. Position Mission*** Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company-specific HSE requirements across all company construction sites and projects. The primary objective is to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control risks that may affect the safety and health of workers, contractors, and visitors, guaranteeing compliance with current legal regulations and promoting a culture of self-care and prevention at all organizational levels. ***3. Required Profile*** **a) Academic Background:** Professional degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Postgraduate specialization in Occupational Health and Safety, **with a valid license.** **b) Work Experience:** Minimum of five (5) years of general experience as an HSE professional. Minimum of three (3) years of specific experience in the **construction sector.** **c) Technical Knowledge:** In-depth knowledge of Colombian HSE regulations (Decree 1072 of 2015, Resolution 0312 of 2019, regulations for work at heights - Resolution 4272 of 2021, among others). Knowledge and experience in implementing international standards such as ISO 45001. Knowledge of RUC Solid knowledge in hazard identification and risk assessment specific to the construction sector (radiological, mechanical, electrical, locative, physical, chemical, biological, biomechanical, and psychosocial risks). \* If lacking radiological risk knowledge, SGS will provide training. Experience in workplace accident investigations using recognized methodologies (cause tree, fishbone diagram, etc.). Certified training as a Work-at-Heights Coordinator. Advanced proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with HSE management software is desirable. **d) Competencies and Skills:** Leadership and Remote Supervision: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage work teams across different geographical locations. Assertive Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, from senior management to field personnel. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose effective solutions to HSE challenges. Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to the constant changes inherent in construction projects. Attention to Detail and Compliance: Rigorous adherence to procedures and regulations. Proactivity and Initiative: Proactive attitude in identifying improvement opportunities and promoting a safety culture. ***4. Additional Requirements*** * Valid license as a Health and Safety Professional. * Certificate of the 50-hour SG-SST course. * Availability to travel frequently between the company’s various worksites and offices at local and/or national level.
