We are bridging two worlds—advancing toward more sustainable energy sources while also helping provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed today. **Position Objective:** Work independently at an advanced level on drafting and modeling tasks, completing a wide variety of demanding assignments by applying drafting and modeling techniques and practices. Must have substantial knowledge of relevant industry standard best practices for the development and control of drafting and modeling deliverables. May provide supervision related to drafting and modeling activities for a large project, or one or more smaller projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Make responsible decisions regarding the course of drafting and modeling deliverables. Difficult, complex or unusual decisions are generally referred to more experienced discipline members such as engineers, who bear full responsibility for the design, including the discipline manager. * Work autonomously, allowing for planning and organization of tasks on assigned projects; may receive self-initiated technical guidance from supervisor, with weekly or monthly reviews, under the understanding that their work is not reviewed in detail due to their experience. * Receive project-related assignments with specific objectives and priorities. May supervise activities to determine accuracy, completeness and achievement of objectives. May receive supervised/self-directed training in more advanced disciplinary work practices/applications. * Work collaboratively within teams of up to 6 direct subordinates consisting of less experienced designers within the same discipline. * Maintain consistent and effective communication with the team, demonstrating experienced ability to report and influence on complex matters and issues through preparation and delivery of presentations and reports, as well as collaboration with stakeholders and discipline management. * Be proficient in using tools such as Microsoft 365 and Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams). Can navigate intranet pages, perform searches and retrieve information. Can organize information from multiple sources and retain it according to established formats and policies. * Work competently and efficiently with specialized design, analysis and modeling tools, and interdisciplinary data-centric methods. * Build appropriate, constructive and effective relationships across the organization; use diplomacy and tact, be approachable, communicate clearly, precisely and coherently both verbally and in writing. Must have solid education and competent understanding of codes, standards and industry best practices, and must be able to support estimation work for project bids and authoring technical proposal content within drafting and modeling scopes. * Experience performing drafting and modeling tasks in conceptual, basic and detailed engineering for industry projects (Oil \& Gas, Mining, Infrastructure, among others).
