This role involves responsibility for the entire development lifecycle, spanning technical design, architecture, implementation, and deployment. Successful candidates will demonstrate competency in making strategic design decisions, building resilient systems using functional programming methodologies, and utilizing modern cloud infrastructure to solve complex business problems. *We accept* *CVs in English only.* **Responsibilities** * Lead the tactical design and technical architecture of new services and components, incorporating Domain\-Driven Design (DDD) and modern software patterns * Create clear, maintainable, and well\-documented designs for microservices and inter\-service communication * Ensure scalability, resiliency, and observability of solutions throughout their lifecycle * Design, develop, and oversee high\-performance and resilient applications using Scala and TypeScript, blending functional and object\-oriented paradigms * Implement business workflows with AWS Step Functions and serverless tools, including AWS Lambda * Write clean, efficient, and thoroughly tested code aligned with team standards and functional programming principles * Develop containerized applications and manage deployment configurations for Kubernetes (k8s) clusters, such as Amazon EKS * Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate testing, building, and deployment across multiple environments * Improve secure and efficient service deployment in coordination with the infrastructure team * Mentor and provide technical leadership to team members through code reviews and architectural discussions * Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions **Requirements** * A minimum of 3 years in professional software engineering with a solid track record of delivering production\-level solutions * Proficiency in Scala with deep understanding of its functional and object\-oriented paradigms * Expertise in Functional Programming (FP), including practical use of effect systems such as ZIO or Cats Effect * Proficiency in TypeScript and its ecosystem, as well as the Node.js runtime * Hands\-on familiarity with AWS core services, such as Lambda, Step Functions, Amazon EKS (Kubernetes), S3, IAM, and CloudWatch * Practical understanding of CI/CD processes, including experience with Jenkins for declarative or scripted pipelines * Showcase of containerization skills using tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes * Competency in microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and applying recognized design patterns * Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 (Upper\-Intermediate) level for effective professional communication **Nice to have** * Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform or AWS CloudFormation * Understanding of event\-driven architectures and familiarity with messaging tools like SQS, Kinesis, or Kafka * Background in back\-end Node.js frameworks such as NestJS or Express * Flexibility to work with database technologies, including SQL options like PostgreSQL and NoSQL options like DynamoDB * Showcase of problem\-solving skills and adaptability in collaborative and agile settings **We offer** * Learning Culture \- We want you to be the best version of yourself, that is why we offer unlimited access to learning platforms, a wide range of internal courses, and all the knowledge you need to grow professionally * Health Coverage \- Health and wellness are important, that is why we have you and up to four family members in a premiere health plan.
