This role involves leading and mentoring a team of developers distributed across Latin America, managing internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects using cutting\-edge technologies. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of software development experience, exceptional leadership capabilities, and strong communication and organizational skills. Your responsibilities will include:* Design and development of robust, scalable AWS cloud software architectures for distributed microservices systems that meet the strategic goals of the organization. * Serve as the subject matter expert on our billing and revenue recognition solutions, demonstrating a deep understanding of subscriptions and billing processes, customer journeys, and the competitive landscape. * Oversee the execution of multiple internal projects, ensuring that timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints are met. * Act as the primary liaison between development teams and internal/external stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical specifications. * Evaluate and implement new technologies, including AI, low\-code platforms, and cloud services (AWS, GCP), to enhance project outcomes and organizational efficiency. * Mentor and lead a diverse team of developers across Latin America, fostering a collaborative environment and driving continuous improvement in development practices. * Ensure that all software developed meets the highest standards of security, performance, and reliability. * Develop comprehensive architecture documentation and ensure all solutions are compliant with relevant regulatory and security standards. * Applies technical knowledge to assist clients in the design and development of solutions to complex technical engineering and applications problems, network challenges, or system administration issues. * Establishes the basic structure of the system, defines essential core design features and elements that provide the framework. * Incorporates engineering strategies for introducing new technology into the customer's infrastructure related to its business processes of collection, analysis, production, and dissemination. * Responsible for initial design and development of new systems or extensive system revisions to support the total requirements, as well as provide for present and future cross\-functional requirements. * Mentor and lead a diverse team of developers, fostering a collaborative environment and driving continuous improvement in development practices **Requirements \& Qualifications:** To excel in this role, you should possess:* 8\+ years of experience in software development. * 6\+ years of AWS cloud architecture experience. * Experience working in SaaS products, Start\-up environments, and with agile methodologies. * Experience with Jira, and other project management tools. * Experience with API\-led platforms. * Proficient in front\-end and back\-end programming languages, particularly JavaScript (React / Node). Extensive experience with AWS cloud architecture (appsync, graphQL, EC2, S3, EKS, SQS, RDS, Kinesis and event streams) and GCP, including network architecture, database management (no\-sql and sql), and cloud security. * Experience with infrastructure/application design; data and cloud security protocols and requirements; system, platform, and account migrations; network infrastructure; proper API implementation, security and authentication systems. * The ability to convert abstract and complex business requirements into technical specifications that produce a detailed design document. * Strong background in designing and implementing scalable, high\-availability systems, and experience with enterprise IT architecture frameworks. * Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation). * Experience with relational and non\-relational databases, particularly DynamoDB and PostgreSQL, and data architecture design. **Nice to have:*** Leadership \& Mentorship: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and mentor a distributed team of developers, with a focus on building a collaborative and high\-performance culture. * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non\-technical stakeholders and influencing decisions at all levels. * Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively, and meeting deadlines. * Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and driving alignment on project goals. * Advanced problem\-solving capabilities, with a focus on innovative solutions and proactive risk management. * Comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment with shifting priorities, and adept at managing change within the team and project scope **Why you will love Lean Tech*** Join a powerful tech workforce and help us change the world through technology. * Professional development opportunities with international customers. * Collaborative work environment. * Career paths and mentorship programs that will lead to new levels.
