A renowned Japanese restaurant located in Medellín is currently looking for a **Cook** to join our team. We seek a person passionate about gastronomy, proactive and committed, who wishes to be part of a dynamic and highly demanding team. As a Cook, you will be a fundamental pillar in our daily operations, ensuring the quality and flavor that define us.
**Responsibilities:**
· Perform mise en place, considering maximum and minimum stock levels
· Ensure cleanliness, disinfection, and organization of kitchen utensils, including hood cleaning, fryer cleaning, trash removal, and bin washing
· Perform daily production mise en place
· Ensure completion of daily forms (pH and CL, trash collection, refrigerator temperatures, daily basic sanitation, etc.)
· Ensure proper closing by thoroughly cleaning the work area (refrigerators, freezers, countertops, shelves, display cases, containers, and other work tools)
· Maintain your work area clean and organized
· Disinfection of fruits and vegetables
· Receive orders and prepare dishes according to technical specifications, while strictly adhering to instructions outlined in the technical sheet
· Verify raw materials, sauces, product rotation, and labeling
· Ensure oil remains in optimal condition; perform cleaning and replacement every ten days, and complete the oil control form
· Monitor inventory stoppages and promptly report any items requiring replenishment
· Complete all forms assigned to your role, such as temperature control logs, oil control logs, etc.
· Prepare orders according to the order ticket
· Maintain professional appearance and personal hygiene
· Maintain effective communication and teamwork
**Requirements:**
· Technical or technological studies in gastronomy or related fields.
· Minimum six months of experience working in kitchens or restaurants.

**Salary:** Current Legal Minimum Wage, with all statutory benefits. Additionally, the employee will receive tips, accrued weekly but disbursed after the 15-day probationary period.
**Schedule:** Split shifts from Sunday to Sunday, with one compensatory day during the week (Monday to Thursday).
Weekday schedule: 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM or 10:30 PM
Weekend schedule: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM or 11:30 PM
