




Job Summary: The Shipping Assistant will handle general inbound and outbound shipments, managing warehouse processes and procedures while ensuring documentation accuracy. Key Responsibilities: 1. Receive, load, and dispatch finished and semi-finished products. 2. Control inventory and ensure the accuracy of information in the SAP system. 3. Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks in the work area. **Job Purpose and Impact** -------------------------- **This is a Permanent position located at Carrera 49 61 sur 540, Bodega 129, Sabaneta, Antioquia. Please note that Cargill does not provide relocation assistance to the work location.** The Shipping Assistant will properly manage general inbound and outbound shipments, understanding warehouse processes and procedures. In this role, the individual will complete activities related to receiving and dispatching documentation, receiving goods, and ensuring accurate documentation and recordkeeping. **Shift / Work Schedule: Rotating** **Key Accountabilities** ------------------------ * **Position Overview:** + Receive finished, frozen, IQF, and refrigerated products, verifying weight, quantities, temperature, lots, traceability, and product presentation. + Load vehicles considering total units, weight, human resources, timely vehicle departure, and settlement aligned with scheduling and established pre\-routes. + Perform activities required to control inventory of finished and semi-finished products to ensure accuracy of information recorded in the SAP system. + Perform online dispatch procedures, picking, order preparation, weight entry, scale confirmation, and loading. + Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks at the workplace. + Assist in backing up the trailer for dock entry as well as T3\ vehicles. + Comply with BPM (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FSQR (Quality) policies. + Interact with colleagues and management to drive continuous improvement of facility operations, related responsibilities, and knowledge, with authority to implement minor changes as defined by management. + Understand and comply with all safety policies and procedures, including equipment lockout/tagout, and maintain a safe and clean working environment. + Perform other assigned duties. + Report traffic incidents occurring during work-related travel. + Participate in road safety training sessions. + Fulfill the organization’s commitment to comply with road safety legislation and organizational guidelines. + Ensure timely and truthful reporting of personal health conditions. + Know and comply with corporate regulations. **Qualifications** ------------------ Minimum Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age. * Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, stooping, or twisting safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. * Ability to lift up to 25 or 12\. 5 kg, with or without reasonable accommodation. (as applicable) * Ability to work under various indoor and outdoor conditions, including cold temperatures down to \-18 degrees. * Completion of primary education or higher. * Proficiency in reading and writing Spanish. * Ability to work in diverse environments where noise, dust, chemicals, etc., may be present, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts, with prior notice. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Prior experience working in a production or plant environment. * Basic computer skills. * Familiarity with inventory systems / manuals.
