Position Summary: We are seeking a professional to lead procurement and logistics for construction projects, ensuring appropriate materials and suppliers are available at the right time. Key Highlights: 1. Leads the procurement and logistics process for construction projects. 2. Manages planning and control of materials, machinery, and services. 3. Responsible for supplier negotiations and warehouse supervision. **Who We Are?** A growing construction-sector company seeking a professional to lead procurement and logistics for our projects, ensuring that construction sites always have the appropriate materials, supplies, and suppliers available at the right time. **Your Mission in This Role:** Plan, manage, and control procurement of materials, machinery, subcontractors, and services for construction projects, coordinating directly with resident engineers, site managers, and architects. **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop the purchasing plan according to budget and construction schedule. * Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors (quality, price, delivery compliance). * Supervise warehouse, inventory, and on-site delivery logistics. * Control purchasing budget and report variances. * Lead the procurement, warehouse, and logistics team. * Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards in material handling. **Requirements:** * Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related fields. * Postgraduate specialization in Procurement, Logistics, or Project Management is desirable. * Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement/purchasing, including at least 2 years in construction. * Advanced Excel and/or ERP system proficiency. * Experience leading teams. **We Are Looking For Someone Who:** * Makes agile decisions under construction timeline pressure. * Communicates clearly with technical personnel. * Demonstrates strong results orientation and ethical conduct in supplier management. **Salary: To be agreed upon.** **Location: Medellín, Antioquia** **Work Mode: On-site** **Are You Interested?** Interested candidates should send applications to **gh@aceromasconcreto.com** Workplace: On-site employment
