Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Assistant to ensure the correct preparation of recipes in accordance with quality and hygiene standards, while maintaining raw materials and utensils in optimal condition. Key Highlights: 1. Prepares ingredients and maintains utensils in optimal condition. 2. Ensures the correct preparation of recipes according to quality standards. 3. Requires knowledge of basic cooking and food handling. A reputable partner company requires personnel with primary or high school education, training in gastronomy or cooking (technical, technological, or short courses), or empirically trained individuals with kitchen experience, to fill the position of Kitchen Assistant, with a minimum of three months’ experience in restaurants or related establishments. · Job Mission: Maintain raw materials, prepared sauces, and kitchen utensils in optimal condition, ensuring the correct preparation of restaurant recipes in compliance with established quality, hygiene, and sanitation standards. · Responsibilities: Prepare the ingredients required for food and beverage preparation, performing washing, disinfection, thawing, chopping, and weighing processes. Wash and disinfect kitchen utensils and equipment before, during, and after work shifts, using designated products. Correctly prepare and apply disinfectant solutions for utensil washing according to the established formula. Organize and place washed and disinfected utensils in their assigned locations. Verify the proper functioning, temperature, and organization of freezers and refrigerators to ensure appropriate food storage. · Required Technical or Specific Knowledge: General knowledge of basic cooking (cutting techniques, product rotation, and food handling). · Professional Competencies: Service orientation. Work Schedule: Rotating shifts, with full availability. Shifts vary between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Contract Type: Indefinite-term contract.
