This includes collaborating on identifying new exploration opportunities in the country, leading the design and execution of resource development programs, geotechnical and geometallurgical studies, geological and resource modeling, as well as exploration to identify, prioritize and test geological, geochemical and geophysical targets to enable new discoveries. This role will be recognized as an expert in project evaluation and exploration, with specialized depth and breadth of knowledge. This includes leading the design and execution of resource development programs, geotechnical and geometallurgical studies, geological modeling, resource modeling, as well as conducting exploration for the identification, prioritisation and testing of geological, geochemical and geophysical targets to make new discoveries. The Principal Advisor II will be recognised as an expert in project evaluation and exploration requiring specialised depth and/or breadth of expertise and will build and lead a team (including training/mentoring less experienced staff) to transact exploration and evaluation activities in line with target prioritisation and study needs. **Responsibilities & key focus areas** * Leads the implementation of best practice for the discovery and evaluation of copper orebodies.
