Additionally, it will contribute to mitigating any current or future risks of the business unit by establishing and complying with procedures designed to maximize present and future growth. **How you create impact** General and Specific Functions * Manage collections and supervise the Accounts Receivable team. * Responsible for resolving overdue invoices and collecting payments from businesses (B2B). * Resolve issues and ensure timely and accurate ticket submission through internal platforms. * Support team development by monitoring performance and providing training when necessary. * Assist the Collections Manager in daily decisions related to credit and collections. * Support the Collections Manager in employee performance evaluations. * Ensure payment application and reconciliation are carried out effectively and daily. * Collaborate with the Allocation team and monitor accuracy in payment allocation. * Review daily/weekly/monthly aging and work lists of Accounts Receivable Specialists. * Ensure calls, follow-ups, notes, and emails are conducted appropriately and promptly. * Work with the Implementation Manager on newly developed processes and support their successful implementation within the team (e.g.: HighRadius, Dispute Management, Electronic Billing, etc.). General Accounting Responsibilities * Ensure collection targets are met and maintain accurate commercial records and solid accounting procedures. * Develop KPIs, ad-hoc reports, and new analyses as required. * Maintain and foster enthusiasm, energy, inspiration, and experience. * Collaborate closely with branches to identify and understand root causes of issues (e.g.: billing quality, disputes) and apply additional pressure/support as needed. * Support the financial reporting team with Accounts Receivable reports (web forms, budgets, etc.). * Assist the Credit Granting and Control Tower teams by following up on overdue balances affecting credit limit increases/renewals and file releases, among others. * Participate in and lead regular internal collections meetings. * Schedule business trips when necessary. * Perform other duties as assigned. **What we would like you to bring** Desired Profile * Education: Completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. * Professional Experience: + Minimum 5 years in accounting or finance areas, preferably in knowledge centers or shared services. + Specific experience in Accounts Receivable , credit risk and cash application processes in shared services environments. * Technical Skills: + Intermediate level of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis). + Intermediate English desirable (reading and communication). * Key Competencies: + Ability to supervise teams and develop talent. + Analytical skills to identify root causes and propose solutions. + Organized and results-oriented to meet collection goals and KPIs. + Effective communication and collaborative work with different departments. **What's in it for you** Joining Kuehne + Nagel means becoming part of a global logistics leader that values both personal and professional growth.
