YOUR IMPACT You will develop and continuously update a strong understanding of core industries, sectors, functional practices, key clients, and digital staffing pools to ensure the best of the firm is brought to each engagement. Your work will help ensure that consultants are staffed in teams where they can leverage their expertise, gain opportunities to learn and grow, and have a positive team experience. You will be based in one of our Spanish Latam offices (preferably Santiago, Bogotá or Lima). You will take full ownership of professional development for digital colleagues and lead staffing for early\-tenure consultants, working closely with consultants, partners, and other team members. In McKinsey Spanish Latam we have 11 Locations and it is home to over 580 talented consultants and \+50 fully digital consultant colleagues — professionals who work across a wide range of sectors and functional areas withing digital, driving distinctive, large\-scale client impact. You will monitor each consultant's development, career progression, and other career\-related topics as they arise. You will also support consultants in understanding feedback from both formal and informal processes related to their staffing and evaluations. Additionally, you will play a key role in the semi\-annual digital performance review process, collaborating closely with the Committee Chair and Development Group Leaders (DGLs) to ensure a smooth process and timely delivery of feedback to digital consultants. Building strong, trust\-based relationships with consultants will be a critical part of your role. This includes gaining an in\-depth understanding of their professional aspirations, experiences, strengths, development needs, and personal skills. You will develop the capabilities needed to effectively guide and support consultants throughout their journey and staffing assignments. You will also manage and report information in the required systems, perform analyses on your cohort and office, and contribute to the practice’s people strategy. Additionally, you will take on responsibility for a variety of ad hoc and special projects initiated by practice leaders, professional development leaders, and other key stakeholders. These projects may include, but are not limited to, initiatives related to Team Experience (The Way We Work), AI initiatives and adoption, Diversity and Inclusion, and other topics that benefit the People Function and broader People\-related efforts. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Bachelor's or master's degree or vocational education with a higher degree 2\+ years’ professional development experience (in an international environment) Passion for people development combined with excellent interpersonal, coaching and team skills; ability to build great relationships with consultants, partners, and international colleagues Ability to work independently and entrepreneurially, managing and prioritizing deadlines effectively Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), firm\-related tools (SharePoint, Slack) and Zoom/Teams, and Early adoption of AI tools Ability to create work product\-focused materials / outputs, which may include PowerPoint decks, Excel analyses, or other written deliverables Proficient in rational decision making based on data, facts, and logical reasoning but also ability to work with ambiguity and changing environments Ability to influence and direct colleagues, and manage the needs of different stakeholders, including senior leaders. Ability to work or attend meetings outside of traditional business hours or take on projects with limited or no notice at times.
