**PURPOSE:** Responsible for maintaining accounting books for international corporate entities, contributing to the overall growth of the Accounting department, ensuring proper recording of general ledger entries, and ad hoc projects if necessary. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Perform financial forecasting and modeling for various business objectives, including cash management, profit and loss forecasting, and financing alternatives. * Prepare monthly reports, including the creation of internal financial statements with commentary and analysis for Finance leadership and other internal stakeholders. * Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as needed. * Communicate with external auditors during annual audits as required. * Identify and implement improvements in the accounting process as agreed with the supervisor. * Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as other regulatory requirements. * Collaborate with the accounting team in reviewing journal entries during the monthly period close. * Manage the Global Inter\-company Variance Report, ensuring all entities are properly reconciled with similar transactions. * Maintain global elimination of Investments and Equity across all entities. * Record complex accounting standards such as Hedge Accounting, Minority Interest, Straight\-Line Amortization of Office Lease Expense, and Amortization of Deferred Financing Costs. * Provide detailed recommendations on complex transactions based on business financial performance through analysis and metrics. * Collaborate with the IT Department to ensure financial systems operate efficiently. * Design operational procedures and processes in compliance with audit standards. * Communicate team/member objectives and KPIs to inspire high performance. * Distribute tasks to maximize team members' capabilities. * Work closely with global accounting departments in PTIs, as well as other business units. Daily standing, sitting, and walking are required. The position involves minimal travel. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * 4\+ years of accounting experience. * CPA preferred. * Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and accounting reporting systems. * Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and functions. * Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 or similar accounting software. * Understanding of currency fluctuations and their impact on Cumulative Translation Adjustment reserves. * Excellent analytical skills, motivation, and confidence to independently address issues. * Ability to interact within the global Finance department at PTI, as well as with other departments. * Bilingual proficiency (Spanish / English) required.
