





**Job Summary** Claims Specialist (FTL) Full\-time In\-Office \| Barranquilla, Colombia **Claims Specialist Role Description:** The Claims Specialist (FTL) will manage the full lifecycle of cargo loss and damage claims for our freight brokerage, from intake through settlement. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned claims, ensuring timely professional communication and driving accurate, data\-backed resolutions. Embracing the ethos of *"All Owns All,"* *"Let No Team Member Fail,"* and *"Integrity Before Profit,"* Core fosters a culture of unwavering commitment to excellence. **Main Responsibilities:** * Manage the full lifecycle of FTL cargo claims, from intake to resolution. * Review shipping documentation (BOL, POD, invoices, contracts) to determine liability. * Communicate directly with customers and carriers to provide updates and resolve claims. * Maintain organized, audit\-ready claim files and accurate records in internal systems. * Support recovery and subrogation efforts according to carrier contracts and insurance policies. * Coordinate with internal teams to gather facts and align claim resolution strategies. * Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to prevent future claims. **Minimum Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in international business or a related field. * Minimum 2 years of proven experience managing cargo claims in a freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation company (FTL experience preferred). * Strong knowledge of U.S.\-based logistics practices, carrier contracts, and freight claims procedures. * Proficient in reviewing and interpreting transportation documentation such as BOLs, PODs, invoices, and rate confirmations. * English proficiency at C1 level, both written and verbal. * Highly detail\-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple claims simultaneously with accuracy and urgency. **Incentives:** * Industry\-leading Salary \+ Bonusses program * Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (weekends OFF) * Contract type: Permanent. * Driven by US Calendar * 2 Weeks Paid Vacation Annually * Encouraging and Collaborative Team Environment **Please Note:** To ensure a thorough review process, we kindly request that all CVs be submitted in English.
