We are seeking an Accountant to join our Bogotá team, supporting our U.S.\-based operations with accurate data entry, reconciliations, and HOA accounting tasks. Position Summary The Accountant will be responsible for data entry, account reconciliations, and HOA\-related accounting tasks with a strong emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail. This role has no direct client interactions or supervisory duties. Key Responsibilities * Perform accurate data entry of financial transactions. * Handle HOA accounting tasks, including recording dues, assessments, and related entries. * Assist with account reconciliations and internal financial reporting. * Maintain organized, up\-to\-date accounting records. * Collaborate with SMAART LLC’s U.S.\-based accounting team to ensure alignment and accuracy. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred, not required). * 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience. * Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar). * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Basic understanding of U.S. accounting standards is a plus. * Fluency in English for communication with the U.S. team. Compensation \& Terms * **Salary:** **USD $18,000** per year. * **Trial Period:** **2\-month** trial period to confirm performance and culture fit. Note: The trial period will be documented in the employment agreement in accordance with local requirements.
