Find out more about our mission at www.opella.com . **About the job** The **LATAM Partner Markets Regulatory Lead** is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing regulatory strategies and providing strategic support across all product categories within the region. The role includes evaluating the regulatory impact of product changes, new indications, and labeling updates, while ensuring effective lifecycle management. This position guarantees that all regulatory activities are carried out efficiently, on time, and in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, Opella standards, and CHC SOPs. We are seeking a dynamic professional with strong leadership capabilities, able to foster collaboration across cross\-functional teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will combine deep regulatory expertise with strategic vision to ensure compliance while driving business growth and innovation across LATAM Partner Markets. This role will work closely with internal global and local stakeholders (Quality, PV, Regulatory, Medical, and Business Functions), as well as with local partners (agents and distributors) performing medical and regulatory activities, to ensure effective collaboration within the established governance framework and ways of working. Additionally, the LATAM Partner Markets Regulatory Lead will play a critical role in supporting Opella’s business objectives by overseeing and driving the execution of regulatory activities conducted by distributors across the LATAM Partner Markets. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and implement regulatory strategies for submissions and lifecycle maintenance to achieve timely approvals and ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle. * Provide strategic regulatory support for brands and innovation initiatives, accelerating new product launches, packaging updates, and claims across LATAM Partner Markets. * Ensure timely, complete, and compliant submissions for marketing authorizations, renewals, variations, and labeling changes. * Conduct regulatory impact assessments for product changes, new indications, and labeling updates, ensuring alignment with business and compliance needs. * Anticipate and interpret regulatory trends and policy changes, communicating insights to guide business and regulatory decision\-making. * Lead interactions with regulatory agencies and local health authorities, ensuring proactive communication and effective resolution of regulatory matters. * Oversee regulatory information and artwork management systems (e.g., Vault RIM) to ensure efficient, accurate, and consistent execution of regulatory and packaging updates. * Ensure high\-quality data, compliance, and performance tracking of all regulatory activities across the region. * Partner with internal stakeholders (Quality, PV, Medical, and Business Functions) and external distributors to ensure aligned governance and execution excellence. * Monitor and report performance KPIs, implementing improvement actions to optimize regulatory efficiency and compliance. * Identify and mitigate regulatory risks, driving proactive risk management and readiness for audits and inspections. * Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and best\-practice sharing within the regional regulatory network to strengthen continuous improvement. **About You** **Experience** : * 5\+ years of experience in related responsibilities and a leadership role. * Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks in LATAM * Experience working in a distributor model (desirable) * Experience in Pharma, OTC or similar FMGC industries desirable. * Experience working in a highly regulated industry. **Soft Skills** * Proactive and self\-motivated with a strong sense of ownership. * Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multifunctional teams and managing external stakeholders. * Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and environments. * Agile, adaptable to a fast\-paced, changing environment \& problem solver. * Strong strategic thinking and mindset with a focus on processes optimization and operational excellence. **Technical Skills** * Knowledge of local and international regulatory standards, health regulations, project management and OTC medicines (desirable). * Strong project management and organizational skills. * Proven ability to work effectively with remote and multicultural teams. * Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector. **Education** : * Bachelor’s degree in health care/life sciences such as Pharmacist, Chemical Engineer, Biologist or similar. **Languages:** * Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken). **Why us?** At Opella, you will enjoy doing challenging, purposeful work, empowered to develop consumer brands with passion and creativity.
