Learn more Thus, commissioning is defined as an intensive quality assurance process that begins at the pre-design stage of a building and continues throughout the design, construction, handover, and operation phases. All technical and architectural work packages may be involved in this process: * Technical trades (HVAC/Smoke extraction/Fire safety/Electrical/Low voltage/BAS, etc…) * Enclosure and roofing (External facades, Roofing, Waterproofing, etc…) * Architectural trades (Interior partitions and glazing/Floor and wall coverings/Metalwork/Painting/etc…) THE POSITION As a Commissioning Project Manager, in collaboration with the person currently responsible for commissioning within OASIIS's Southeast agency, you will be tasked with providing an overall perspective on the commissioning process throughout the building process: whether for new construction, rehabilitation, or renovation projects, a comprehensive approach must be applied from design—starting at the schematic phase—through to operation. You will be responsible for commissioning building projects by: * Identifying the project’s performance objectives * Analyzing the design project (Critical review of written and graphical project documents in alignment with objectives) * Analyzing the project’s execution studies * Conducting on-site inspections during site visits * Initiating, participating in, and supervising tests and trials carried out prior to works acceptance * Ensuring proper transfer of technical documentation and operation and maintenance instructions to future operators and users The ultimate goal is to support clients and various project stakeholders: * To reduce the number of reservations during the acceptance phase; * To reduce defects or improper adjustments (sources of overconsumption or discomfort); * To minimize potential system malfunctions during operation. REQUIRED PROFILE You possess solid technical knowledge of buildings combined with substantial field experience (audits, site supervision, construction work, etc.). Are you a specialist in HVAC, electrical systems, or structural engineering, and would you like to expand your skill set? Within our Paris and Strasbourg offices, you will serve as the commissioning expert and support our Project Managers on this subject. We expect you to adapt the commissioning approach according to the various project phases, train our staff on the topic, and establish a standardized methodology.
