




The parish office secretary is oriented toward serving the congregation and community in general who come to the parish seeking sacramental, pastoral, and worship services. They will perform required office duties and administrative assistance tasks at the parish, following the instructions of the parish priest and established procedures from the Central Curia. Functions: * Report directly to the parish priest. * Provide courteous in-person and telephone service to the public. * Be responsible for all notarial documents. * Schedule worship services requested by the parish. * Receive payments for pastoral services and issue cash receipts within the system. * Provide a daily report of received funds to the parish priest and/or his delegate. * Prepare and deliver documents and certificates requested from the office and authorized by the parish priest. * Update the parish website with guidance from the pastoral zone or Archdiocese. * Guide parishioners regarding activities and services offered by the parish. * Properly complete and keep updated the parish registers. * Review, classify, and control parish documents under their responsibility, applying appropriate document archiving procedures, and ensure their physical and systematic organization. * Perform weekly backups of electronic information under their responsibility, including both the registry software and accounting software. * Assume treasury duties and serve as accounting assistant according to service needs and organizational structure within the parish. * Prepare documentation related to personnel hiring, with guidance from the parish priest and accountant (contracts, social security and parafiscal affiliations). * Participate in meetings, training sessions, and informational events organized by the pastoral zone and/or the Archdiocese of Bogotá. * Maintain and update administrative records, verifying their accuracy, and submit corresponding reports as requested by the parish priest. * Attend training sessions scheduled by the parish. * Manage and be accountable for the petty cash fund when assigned. * Perform any other duties assigned by the parish priest for service-related reasons. **Requirements** Academic * Technical or technological studies in administrative management preferred Experience * One year of experience in related positions; experience in a parish setting is desirable Position type: Full-time
