As a Network Administrator at Van der Valk Plaza Resort Bonaire, you ensure that our systems and networks function properly and that colleagues receive prompt assistance with technical problems. You will be based in Bonaire, working within a small-scale, international environment, and act as an extension of the IT teams in the Netherlands. Together with them, you will address the local challenges of the resort. **WHAT WILL YOU DO?** You will support colleagues in IT matters and ensure that systems, networks, and hardware continue to operate smoothly. You will regularly communicate with the IT teams in the Netherlands and coordinate activities with them. The tasks are varied and require both technical expertise and excellent communication skills. **Your responsibilities include:** * Providing local IT support and handling service tickets * Managing and maintaining systems, networks, and hardware * Coordinating with external vendors and IT teams in the Netherlands * Identifying and resolving malfunctions and recurring issues * Installing updates, infrastructure, and hardware * Contributing ideas regarding IT processes and improvement opportunities * Being available outside office hours in case of urgent failures A training period of several months in the Netherlands prior to your stay on Bonaire is a possibility.
