We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Senior .NET Engineer** to join our Application Platform team, supporting a strategic initiative to migrate a monolithic application into a cutting\-edge microservices architecture. This role requires technical expertise, problem\-solving ability, and collaborative energy to help lay the foundation of the new platform and support its rollout across product teams. *We accept* *CVs in English only.* **Responsibilities** * Participate in Phase 1 by untangling complex dependencies and factoring out platform code to establish the microservices foundation * Upgrade the existing .NET Framework codebase to modern .NET Core versions, addressing incompatibilities and managing package upgrades * Collaborate with product teams during Phase 2, coding alongside them and providing guidance for decomposition and migration of domain code * Enhance and refine the microservices platform based on technical and business needs * Follow 'you build it, you run it' principles by assisting in technical design, testing teammates' code, and monitoring applications for production issues * Use Domain Driven Design principles to shape architecture and refactor existing components * Develop distributed systems, including message queuing, RESTful APIs, and eventual consistency mechanisms * Apply refactoring techniques and design patterns to solve complex technical challenges * Build and maintain containerized applications in Kubernetes environments * Commit to quality with robust unit testing practices * Troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively and efficiently **Requirements** * 3\+ years of professional experience with C\#, .NET, and extensive background in migrating codebases from .NET Framework to modern .NET versions including .NET 8 * Deep understanding of Domain Driven Design and its application to migrations and architecture * Qualifications in distributed systems, including RabbitMQ or Service Bus, and RESTful API design * Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications management * Proficiency in troubleshooting production systems and addressing compatibility challenges * Capability to apply refactoring techniques and design patterns to upgrade and restructure legacy systems * Familiarity with Hibernate and other persistence tools * English level of minimum B2 (Upper\-Intermediate) for effective communication **Nice to have** * Background in managing event\-driven architectures and tools like RabbitMQ or Kafka * Showcase of contributing to high\-quality design through advanced refactoring techniques **We offer** * Learning Culture \- We want you to be the best version of yourself, that is why we offer unlimited access to learning platforms, a wide range of internal courses, and all the knowledge you need to grow professionally * Health Coverage \- Health and wellness are important, that is why we have you and up to four family members in a premiere health plan.
