The Team: Optimization is a central pillar of the Core Payments strategy and, within LAC, sits under the Consumer Products organization. The Optimization Team is tasked with enhancing the performance of existing portfolios by leveraging benchmarking analytics, actionable insights, and compelling content to unlock key KPIs. Our mission is to accelerate growth in activation and usage across Consumer Products portfolios. This includes increasing approval rates, streamlining customer processes, and elevating the overall consumer experience. By driving activation and reactivation, stimulating spend, and expanding loyalty and premium card bases, the team delivers high\-impact strategies that significantly improve portfolio profitability. To achieve this, the Optimization Team will work in close partnership with colleagues across product, marketing, and services to optimize both digital and physical commerce, focusing on priority customer segments in key markets. The Role: We are seeking a visionary Vice President to lead the development and execution of the regional strategy, driving alignment across global, CSC, and cross\-functional teams. This role will be responsible for shaping and managing the regional engagement model, overseeing governance forums, and standardizing content and structure to ensure consistency and strategic clarity across markets. The ideal candidate will bring strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and execution discipline, with a proven ability to lead cross\-functional initiatives and deliver measurable business outcomes. Main role activities: Drive Strategic Issuer Value Storytelling Lead the development and dissemination of standardized, tailored, and bespoke Value Stories across key strategic levers—including Consumer, Cross\-Border, Approval Rates, Spend Active Rate, and Product Optimization. Ensure global and regional teams are trained and equipped to leverage these resources in support of priority initiatives. Lead Regional Governance \& Stakeholder Alignment Own and facilitate governance forums across divisions, global teams, and cross\-functional partners (e.g., Data \& Services), ensuring strategic alignment, transparency, and accountability in execution. Provide Strategic Guidance \& Thought Leadership Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, offering strategic direction and fostering collaboration to accelerate progress on key performance indicators such as PO Engagements, Spend Active Rate, and Approval Rates.
