Important hotel located north of Bogotá requires a person to work as an Accounting Assistant, with the following profile: Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in the position, preferably in medium and high-category hotels. Education: Technical or Technologist degree in accounting, finance, or related fields. The job's mission is to support the financial department in maintaining updated and organized financial information by recording transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring proper management of the hotel's income and expenses, thus contributing to efficiency and strategic decision-making. Some of the functions to be performed are: \- Record all accounting transactions related to the hotel's income and expenses, such as invoices, expenses, and bank transactions \- Perform bank and other account reconciliations to ensure that financial information is accurate and up to date. \- Process and prepare payments to suppliers, issue invoices, and follow up on accounts receivable and payable. \- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal and external reports for management and other departments. \- Safeguard and manage operating cash to ensure cash flow and resource availability. \- Provide necessary information for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulations.
