





**The Treasury Manager** is responsible for ensuring the proper daily performance of treasury functions, analysis and management of current cash and liquidity conditions and their projection, as well as developing process improvements and projects for local and regional Treasury. They must also ensure the company achieves the best funding cost by following various corporate policies and metrics, including liquidity risk management policy, interest rate policy, among others; in case of deviations, they must propose corrective actions to achieve compliance. They must likewise ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements. They are also responsible for various monthly processes, including cash flow forecasting and funding planning, month-end closing, review of funding and liquidity results; and daily processes such as monitoring daily cash flow operations, bank loans, issuance of CDTs, among others. In this role, they will gain significant international exposure by working closely with the Central Treasury team and other Latin American countries. This position requires a high degree of independence and decision-making with minimal supervision, as well as solid knowledge of financial (banking) business operations. Additionally, they will maintain relationships with various banks (global and local), investors, rating agencies, and different internal departments within the company. **What you will be doing** * Operational and strategic liquidity management: Responsible for short- and medium-term cash flow forecasting, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate indicators, and supporting short- and medium-term funding and liquidity strategy. * Financial institution relations: Negotiating credit lines, rates, and cash management products with banks. * Capital markets: Engaging and managing relationships with investors and credit rating agencies. Validating interest rate curves. * Funding processes and financial structuring: Bond and CDT issuance, exploring new funding sources, and participation in ESG initiatives. * Reporting and compliance: Preparing and reviewing regulatory and corporate reports, submitting information to headquarters, responding to requests from other departments and banks. Reviewing and keeping treasury procedures and policies up to date. * Risk management and internal control: Providing inputs for regulatory requirements, business continuity planning, and supporting internal and external audits. * Supporting business on new initiatives requiring funding/capital/liquidity. * Supporting capital administration and forecasting. * Team leadership: Supervising and guiding the treasury team (analyst and specialist), promoting collaboration, effective communication, and high performance. * Cross-functional interaction: Participating in internal and external committees, and coordinating with international teams. **What you need** * Professional degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields. * Desired: Graduate studies in finance-related topics or CFA certification. * Prior experience in Finance or Treasury areas. * Minimum of 10 years of total work experience. * Advanced English proficiency. * Knowledge of capital markets, cash flow, deposit products, funding structures, bill discounting, interest rates, and financial modeling. * Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial modeling. * Strategic thinking and business acumen. * Ability to lead and manage teams. * Advanced analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills. * Excellent collaboration and verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish). * Strong interpersonal skills, influence, and high-level negotiation abilities. * Ability to adapt quickly and manage change effectively. **What we offer** At GM Financial, we want you to be your most authentic self.
